At home, I’ve rehabilitated dogs that suffered a variety of abuse, from basic lack of socialization to outright starvation and physical beatings. All of the dogs learned to trust people and other dogs again, became good pets and companions, and lived the remainder of their lives happily with my family and me.
I understand the demands on, and concerns of, parents with dogs and kids. My husband and I have a child who recently graduated from college and we currently have one dog and a cat. The most rewarding part of what I do is watching my clients build a bond with, and enjoy spending time with, their dogs. My philosophy is that a well-trained dog is a happy dog: he is welcome just about anywhere, is a pleasure to live with, and consequently his owner will want to spend time with him,
